As managing partner, Barry brings over 25 years of experience in private equity to the Stamford Innovation Center with expertise in distance education, communications & media, retailing, consumer products, business services, and manufacturing. Additionally, Barry is the founder of Stoneybrook Capital, former MD at Commonwealth Capital and co-founder of Chemical Venture Partners.

As the original business development manager for IBM’s WebSphere product family, Peter has worked with hundreds of small technology companies and startups during his time at IBM and, more recently, as a marketing and strategy consultant. Two years ago, he founded the FairCo TEEM Meetup group as a way to encourage collaboration among the many talented business leaders in Fairfield County.

 
 

Janis Collins -- Startup Company Advisor

Janis has been helping companies innovate and create new businesses for countless years, which includes helping high-tech startups through her own company and both advising and funding new financial services firms. At JPMorgan, she even ran the business incubator for angel investor group LabMorgan which focused on new electronic market ventures. Over the last few years, Janis has also founded and launched two non-profit organizations.

 

Meg Dalton -- Marketing Manager

Following college, Meg gained valuable experience at two Connecticut-based startups where she developed a passion for helping small companies grow and innovate. At the civically-oriented SeeClickFix, she worked with local municipalities to implement, launch, and market the startup’s web and mobile SaS platform. More recently, Meg helped establish a local chapter of the national non-profit Eat for Equity in Stamford and will be spearheading Ignite Stamford in 2013.

An angel investor and serial entrepreneur, Bill serves as an advisor to a number of early-stage, web-based companies in industries ranging from biotech to online commerce. Previously, he co-founded Callahan Associates International (later became Cable Partners Europe), a communications development company focused on acquiring, developing, and managing communication ventures around the globe, including building and operating broadband systems throughout Europe. For the past four years, he also served on the Board at PopTech.
